Tali Fruchtmann News: Annie Lennox's Daughter Found Safe After Kayaking Incident

Grammy-winner Annie Lennox's daughter, Tali Fruchtmann, 22, was found alive and well after she had been reported missing on Saturday morning following a kayaking incident in the Hudson River.

She was found alive and uninjured on Sunday morning. She did not go to the hospital following the rescue by a passing vessel.

A search for Fruchtmann and her boyfriend Ian Jones, 32, was initiated at 9.50 am on Saturday. It moved from near Mills Mansion to the shore near where the kayaking couple was last seen.

Duchess County Sheriff's Office captain John Waterston was quoted as saying that the search was being aided by "extensive resources" including marine patrols and dive teams as well as New York State Police helicopters and state officers on foot.

It was suspended at 10 pm that day when river conditions turned bad, then resumed on Sunday morning.

According to Watterson, neither of the kayakers was properly attired with life vests for the kayaking trip near the Staatsburgh State Historic Site.

He further states that alcohol might have been a factor in the incident, but no foul play is suspected.

The body of Ian Jones was found on Monday near the Poughkeepsie Yacht Club.

An autopsy was performed, and the results confirm drowning as the cause of death, again with no evidence of foul play.

Fruchtmann paid a heart wrenching tribute to her boyfriend via Instagram on Monday night, "My heart is shattered. My best friend, my soul mate, my partner in crime & creativity, the LOVE & LIGHT of my life is no longer with me."

She further appealed, "Let us honor & celebrate this beautiful soul & keep following the light."
