Syntax Creative Partners With Living Word Christian Center for Fifth Service’s Sophomore Album, ‘Proven’
Digital distributor Syntax Creative has teamed up with Living Word Christian Center for the release of the second album of its worship group, titled "Proven."
The Living Word Christian Center is a Brooklyn Park, Minnesota-based non-denominational church led by pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond. The Fifth Service, meanwhile, is the worship group of the church for eight years now.
Worship pastor Brandon Lyles said that as "Room to Breathe" attests, the Living Word Christian Center knows how to make good music. But ultimately, they are first and foremost a church with a responsibility to its flock.
"We look forward to the expertise and experience Syntax brings to the table. This way, we can continue to be a church first," he said in a statement.
"The reviews of Syntax by other churches like ours have been exceptional," Lyles said. "We feel like our partnership with Syntax will expand our reach and impact of the message we're called to bring."
Syntax Creative CEO Tim Trudeau also explained why they teamed up with Living Word.
"Living Word Christian Center has created a really good project that has the potential to impact listeners far beyond the walls of their own facility," he said. "One of the things I truly enjoy about my job is playing matchmaker between new music and new listeners."
Philip Rood, the director for social media at Living Word, said teaming up with Syntax for Fifth Service's second album, "Proven," was easy because he knows the people behind the independent digital distribution company for over a decade now.
"We've worked together for a long time, and when I heard the new album by The Fifth Service, I knew I had to get Syntax involved so it could get the exposure it deserved," he added.
