The recent news regarding the death of actor Sylvester Stallone is a hoax. It was reported on August 25, 2014 that the Hollywood actor died in a single vehicle crash between Ipswich and Willowbank in Queensland, but apparently the news came from a satirical website.
The original article states, "Actor Sylvester Stallone died in a single vehicle crash between Ipswich and Willowbank in Queensland as confirmed by Royal Queensland Police - August 25, 2014. Many already expressed their grief for the world-renowned actor, but apparently, Stallone himself is alive and well.
The hoax was rather elaborate as it attempted to provide falsified evidence for the death of the 'Rocky' actor. However, the photo used was actually shows an accident Beatrice, Nebraska that killed a 53-year-old man.
