An unexpected news that shocked the film industry as Sweflix which is known for being the leading gratis movie online was caught by police authorities due to a complaint from Disney and Nordic film.

According to the news reported by Christian Post, police authorities raided two of the biggest branches of Sweflix in Uppsala and Southern Sweden while regular work is ongoing.

In addition to the report, Prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist says that they've been having a surveillance to gather enough information that may be use against Sweflix. With the help of some informants, the raid was of success as people who are responsible were caught in the act. Mats said, "We have over time carried out surveillance against those who may be behind Sweflix." 

On the other hand, unconfirmed report says that three was held captive in jail that went on an interrogation. However, one of the suspects was released due to the lack of evidence, while the two is under the custody of the police authorities as of the moment.

Meanwhile TorrentFreak cited information that confirmed Ljungqvist involvement in the confiscation of the materials in the raided area for evidence but did not give further details.

US authorities released a statement that it's been a while since the Pirate Bay in Sweden was doing illegal sharing of file without considering the copyright from the producer. Therefore, the raid is just part of the plan to fight against piracy.
