Episode 7 of "Survivor: Kaoh Rong" which aired on March 30 saw one of the eleven castaways packing up due to severe knee infection.

The previous episode opened with Gondol going back to the camp after he had sent Peter home at the tribal council. Cheesed off by the Brain tribe contestants' indecisiveness on who to vote, he said he would pick them apart one at a time.

Back at Chan Loh, Cydney noticed the bulge in Neal's pocket and told Jason he must have an immunity idol. But just when they were about to deal with Neal, a boat carrier arrived to send them a message. They learned they only had five minutes to pack their things up because they were already moving up as parts of the highly anticipated merge.

Scot was excited to see the members of the Brawn tribe, and Aubry said she felt secure knowing that Neal and Debbie had already returned.

Following the merge, the Brain and Brawn alliance approached Nick because they wanted him and Michelle to join them. Scot and Jason told Nick that they suspected that Neal had an idol and they knew that Tai also had one. However, Nick did not show any interest on the intel.

The following day, Debbie approached Tai to tell him that she wanted to ally with him, but Tai immediately said she could not fool him. Aubry said Debbie was just so desperate to get the numbers.

Meanwhile, the Brawn tribe revealed they wanted Neal but because of his immunity idol, they decided to take out Aubry instead.

When Neal revealed to Aubry that he had an idol from the first camp, Aubry told him it was exactly what her team needed.

After much politicking, the castaways met up with Jeff Probst for the first individual immunity challenge. During the competition, the contestants were told to stand on a log while trying to balance a ball on a wooden disk. If the ball drops, they're out. At the end of the day, it was Nick who won the immunity.

At the deliberation, Nick told Michelle they were going with the Brawn tribe since they're "manipulative idiots." He also said they're going to pretend that they're siding with the Brains tribe, then blindside them at voting time.

Towards the end of the episode, Jeff showed up with a doctor to check on the contestants' cuts. As the doctor found Neal's knee infection dangerous, he decided to pull him out of the game so he could be sent to the hospital, but assured him that he could still participate in the tribal council vote.
