The events at the tribal council in "Survivor: Kaoh Rong" episode 10 couldn't have been more surprising for the survivors.

At the Reward Challenge, the survivors had to balance pots on a beam and secretly choose a reward: an advantage, food or letters from home. After choosing a reward, they had to compete against those who wanted the same reward, such that only one survivor would win each of the three rewards.

Tai, Cydney and Aubry competed for an advantage; Scot, Jason and Michele competed for food; and Julia and Joe competed for love from home.

At the end of the challenge, Tai got the advantage, Julia got her packet of love letters, and Michele got her bottle of cold beer.

Back at the camp, Tai read the note he won, which said he got an extra vote and could take advantage of that until there were only five survivors left.

Meanwhile, Aubry told Tai that Julia and Michele wanted to flush an idol and that Julia wanted to work with him. Tai then went to Scot and Jason and told them that Aubry was a free agent. As a response, Scot told the boys they should vote the girl out.

At the Immunity Challenge, the survivors had to press their arms and hands against disks so that the pots attached to the disks would not fall. Otherwise, they're out. By the end of the challenge, Jason and Aubry were left to compete but it was Jason who won the individual immunity.

At the camp, vote talks were on again. While the other survivors had their own plans, Aubry talked to Tai and told him she wanted to take out Scot, and Cydney and Joe could join her in voting against him. Tai said he wanted to work with Aubry but he had some issues with not staying with Scot and Jason, since he thought that a final three with the two boys could work for him.

Towards the end of the episode, the votes proved the episode title "I'm Not Here to Make Good Friends" right. For the survivors, it was all just a game. The turn of events at the tribal council broke the power pairing of Jason and Scot, as Scot went out with Jason's idol. Now, it is only Tai who has the idol in the game.
