'Supernatural' Season 12 News, Spoilers: Next Season Is Not The Last Series, To See A Badass Castiel?
"Supernatural" returns for its 12th season this October, and it is not going to be the last for the show.
The series has been one of the longest series on The CW and has created a strong fan base. Since the series has been around for quite a long time now, fans are wondering if the upcoming season will be the series' last. Just recently, one of its showrunners confirmed that the network won't pull the plug yet after season 12.
Showrunner Eric Kripke confirmed in his interview with Collider that the upcoming season is not yet the end for the series. He said he had never imagined that "Supernatural" would reach this far, but luckily for the fans, there is no scheduled end for the series yet.
"As long as Jared and Jensen, who are the heart of the show, are up for it, then anything's possible. There's as many episodes as there are ghost stories, and there's thousands of ghost stories. As long as everyone's having fun and Jared and Jensen are having fun, they'll keep doing it," said Kripke.
In another interview, actor Misha Collins revealed something about the storylines that fans can expect in season 12. According to him, the upcoming season will feel like it's going back to the show's roots, at least for his character Castiel. He teased that fans may see a badass Castiel next season, just as how badass he was in seasons 4 and 5.
"Supernatural" season 12 is set to premiere in October 13, 9:00 P.M. on The CW.
