‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Update, Spoilers: Horror Level Escalated in New Season [VIDEO]

If a recent report in The Hollywood Reporter is to be believed, the scare level in 'Supernatural' Season 11 has been increased and this is evident from the first trailer of the upcoming installment of the long-running horror television series on The CW.

According to Latin Post, one thing that is yet to occur on the show is the established existence of God. The trailer suggests that the upcoming season will begin dealing with that topic.

While it has not been proven on the show that God does exist, there have been several occasions when they have suggested his existence. At one point, even the prophet Chuck (Rob Benedict) was believed to be the holiest of the holy. However, there has never been any solid evidence of his existence until now.

The trailer for 'Supernatural' Season 11 begins showing a prayer by Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), who is seen bloody and nearly broken. His prayer is directed to the big man himself. Through the previous 10 seasons of the show, Sammy and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have also endured their respective journeys of combating evil forces somewhat alone or, for the most part, without seeking God's help.

However, with the introduction of the Darkness, all this is going to change and it appears that Sammy will be leading the new charge to find God.

In fact, the new season will be appreciated even more keeping in view the fact that Sam and Dean will now return to the organized team unit that they have been without for long.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Padalecki said, "It's been a while since we've seen Sam and Dean in a good place." The lead actor further added, "And this year they're going to be facing The Darkness together head-on, and I think the fans are really going to love that."

In the past few seasons of 'Supernatural,' the dark relationship between the two siblings has been a major theme and now, they finally find the peace between each other.
