‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Spoilers, News: Will God Make an Appearance in New Season [VIDEO]
'Supernatural' has already played a Biblical theme and now the season is expected to turn pre-Biblical, suggesting that the original entity kept Darkness away will be required to return in order to clearout the mess, reports Entertainment Weekly quoting series star Jared Padalecki.
Citing the report in Entertainment Weekly, Latin Post states that this is something that comes even before God and Lucifer. It was God who cleared up the Darkness in the beginning, and now that it has been allowed to return, it suggests that all the rules have been done away with. Hence, now it is the responsibility of everybody and everything on the show to restore it in its place. In fact, this may hint at Lucifer also, provided he is able to free himself from the cage wherein Sammy put him in back on Season 5.
With the story of 'Supernatural' returning to pre-Biblical days, many fans are wondering if that mean that God will be required to come with his all-knowing wisdom and save the day.
Padalecki said, "I think [the Darkness] certainly opens the door for Lucifer and/or God to pop up," adding, "We're certainly going back to that and going a bit more biblical and having our take on the writings that didn't make it into the Bible."
Meanwhile, fans of the fantasy horror television series on The CW ought to know that the entire good as well as bad characters that have appeared on the show thus far will be equally in agreement idea that there is an urgent need to control The Darkness and put back in its place. Therefore, it is likely that fans will see Lucifer getting out of the cage in the upcoming season.
At the same time, this may suggest that the Winchesters will need to join forces with Metatron at some point. Hence, 'Supernatural' Season 11 may play out with the Winchesters collaborating with all their enemies with a view to take out the granddaddy of all Big Bads.
Padalecki said, "Since we know God's a scribe, we may have to invite him along for the ride."
'Supernatural' Season 11 is set to premiere on Oct. 7 on The CW.
