'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 16 Spoilers: Dean and Sam Check Out Old Case; Jim Beaver Returns

Dean and Sam are set to scrutinize a previous case while Jim Beaver returns in "Supernatural" season 11 episode 16.

"Supernatural" season 11 episode 16 is entitled "Safe House." In his interview with TV Line (via International Business Times UK), series executive producer Jeremy Carver said that Dean and Sam will handle an old case that had been once investigated by Bobby and Rufus in season 5.

According to Carver, there was a lot of great throwbacks to things that had happened during the said season, pointing to the "wonderful" relationship between the latter duo. For the show's executive producer, that was going to be a really "neat" episode.

In his interview with a panel at NashCon, Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester, said that Sam's faith would be in a constant struggle with what he dreamed about and what he wanted. He also mentioned that he was "kind of" in the same as him, which he had described as funny.

Beaver, who plays Bobby, also comes back in "Supernatural" season 11 episode 16. According to Spoilers Guide, a perilous creature was unintentionally released into an old house, As per the publication, results to an attack to a mother and her child, leaving them both in a coma state.

The publication also revealed that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will discover that Bobby and Rufus had once tracked the same creature. As a result, the Winchesters go back to the past to set up a plan to capture the entity before it could hurt other people.

"Supernatural" season 11 episode 16, "Safe House," is set to air on Mar. 23.
