It is not the yet the end for Cat Grant in "Supergirl" season 2, as series actress Calista Flockhart is not set to go somewhere. Also, the romance brewing among Kara, Winn, and James may continue in the upcoming season.

The CW network head Mark Pedowitz revealed that Flockhart, who plays Cat Grant in "Supergirl," is set to stay in the series' season 2. In an interview with TV Line, Pedowitz said that there were ongoing discussions with the actress, adding that they were thrilled that she wanted to continue with the show and they were happy to have her in whatever capacity.

Previously, rumors surfaced that Flockhart would no longer be part of "Supergirl" season 2, as the transition of the show from CBS to The CW had resulted to some modifications to the setup of the show's location and production. According to Ecumenical News, Warner Bros. has opted to move the set from Los Angeles to Vancouver and this ignited speculations that the actress would no longer be in "Supergirl" season 2.

In other news, it looks like Kara, James, and Winn's love triangle is set to push through in "Supergirl" season 2, according to series executie producer Ali Adler. It is known that Kara and James kissed in season 1 and in his interview with TV Line, Adler said that it was a little satisfying to see them kiss, adding that they had wanted to pay off the chemistry that they had felt all season from them and see how they could set up the possibility of exploring a relationship.
