Kara is set to set up her game plan to save her friends in "Supergirl" season 1 episode 19. Also, the Supergirl and The Flash crossover has been revealed to have boosted the show's ratings while a potential plot for "Supergirl" season 2 has been uncovered.

"Supergirl" season 1 episode 19 is entitled "Myriad." According to Spoilers Guide, Kara must think of ways to free her friends, since Non and Indigo made use of their telekinetic powers to transform the National City's people into their own army.

This manipulation of the people shows resemblance to the events in the film "Divergent." In the film, the Erudite, which is headed by Jeanine, utilized a serum that turned the Dauntless faction into their own army that is set to kill people in the faction Abnegation. While both story arcs are comparable, how Non and Indigo lead the army that they formed is yet to be revealed.

Fans saw Kara and Barry Allen share the same screen in "Supergirl" season 1 episode 18. Entitled "Worlds Finest," the episode saw The Flash appear coming from an alternate universe. The scarlet speedster helped Kara fight Siobhan, also known as Silver Banshee, and also Livewire to express his gratitude in helping him find a way to his home.

The Supergirl-Flash crossover managed to get a boost in ratings. According to Variety, the national estimates from Nielsen had an average of 1/7 rating per six shares in adults 18 to 49 years old and 7.2 million viewers in all. As per the publication, the recent ratings increased by 31 percent ahead of the previous two "Supergirl" season 1 episodes.

In other news, "Supergirl" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared his thoughts on what fans could expect from the second season of the series. In his interview with IGN, Kreisberg said that it was going to remain more of an evil "specter-y" thing that was out there, adding that it was definitely something that they were going to purse.

Kreisberg also mentioned that the series is set to see Cadmus, which he described as one with a rich history in the comics and animated shows. For the executive producer, there was so much in the character that he would definitely be included in "Supergirl" season 2.
