'Supergirl' Cast News: Brit Morgan Of 'True Blood' Cast As Villain Of DC Comics 'Supergirl'
Brit Morgan of True Blood has been confirmed to guest star in CBS' Supergirl, as told exclusively to Variety. She will play Livewire aka Leslie Willis, DC Comics shock-jock who suddenly becomes as dangerous as her words after an accident.
Morgan, who is most recently starring in HBO's True Blood series as Debbie Pelt, Alcide's erratic werewolf ex-girlfriend, has also featured in other popular TV series, including Criminal Minds, The Mentalist and Two and a Half Men. She's also most known for her role as Amber in the TV series Graceland.
In Supergirl, she is Leslie Willis, an entertainingly abrasive shock - jock whose show features on Cat Grant's (Calista Flockhart) CatCo Media.
When Leslie is involved in an accident, she suddenly starts walking her talk and causing havoc all around. It is up to Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to stop her.
Livewire joins the world of Supergirl alongside a few other DC Comic characters, both friends and villains.
Maxwell Lord, green tech millionaire and friendly rival to Cat Grant will be played by Peter Facinelli. Lucy Lane, Lois' sister, will be played by Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
And Chris Browning will don DC antagonist Reactron'snuclear energy-powered suit and take on his mission to destroy Superman's family.
The executive producers of the show at CBS' Television Critics Assn. presentation for Supergirl announced earlier this week that Lucy's father, General Sam Lane will feature on the series sometime soon, as will sentient android superhero Red Tornado, announced it.
Kryptonian villain, Non, will also come on to cause havoc, but all these roles are still at the casting stage.
The TV adaptation is set to premiere on October 26th.
