According to the publication, "New Super Mario Bros. U" and "Super Mario 3D World" sold 5.34 million and 5.01 million copies, respectively. Based on the figures, it is assumed that revenue stream from mobile gaming, which the company until now has avoided, could be pivotal to Nintendo.
