15th Annual NFL Super Bowl Gospel Celebration with Mary Mary, Donnie Mcclurkin, Natalie Grant, and the NFL Players Choir will be at Madison Square Garden

The first gospel concert ever sanctioned by the NFL is coming to New York City for 'Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.'

The concert series for 2014 will feature Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum selling gospel and contemporary Christian artists, gospel duo Mary Mary, ten-time Stellar Award winner Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin, world renowned legend Patti Labelle, contemporary Christian artist Natalie Grant, actress now gospel singer Tamela Mann, and NFL players and the NFL PLAYERS Choir.

The Celebration is one of the most attended events on Super Bowl weekend. This year it will be taking place Friday, Jan 31 at 7:30 PM in New York City at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. It will be a celebration of fellowship, faith, and football all under one roof.

From the Super Bowl to the stage, NFL players are letting their guard down, shedding their tough images, and sharing inspirational messages of how their faith has brought them through, on and off the field. Musicians, actors, coaches, political leaders, and others have all been apart of the big event over the years.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated occurances of the evening is when the players trade their jerseys for choir robes and lift up their thunderous voices. The NFL PLAYERS Choir ignites the stage singing some of gospel music's favorite tunes and this year it will be under the direction of Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin.

Dove Award Female Vocalist of the Year for four consecutive years, singer Natalie Grant, is one of the night's performers and shared her excitement to be a part of it all. "The fact that the NFL has sanctioned this as an event, I mean what a message it's sending," she stated at last year's event.

In the past media has also raved about the event, "It's easy to see why the players are so passionate about this event!" said the The NFL Network.
