'Suits' Season 6 Spoilers, Premiere Date: Aaron Korsh Hints New Season Starts Exactly 'After Mike's Guilty Plea For Fraud'

The Season Finale for "Suits" has been cooking and showrunner Aaron Korsh reveals what could happen in Season 6. The team will start filming the much- awaited season on April 5.

There might be some spoilers for the finale episode entitled "25th Hour" so read at own risk.

As what Korsh stated to The Hollywood Reporter, Season 6 will start exactly after Mike's guilty plea for fraud despite fans' assumption for a time skip. Korsh explained that they wanted to dig deeper on the outcome, hence, Season 6 will be the continuation of Season 5.

Notably,  Christian Today stated that the end of Season 5 will show Mike Ross and his admission for his mistakes. He did this to save Pearson, Specter, and Litt law office but will be put behind bars for two years. What will happen to him?

"We're coming back right where we left off," the creator said. "We'll often always think about a time jump and then a flashback, but then we counter with wondering why we just don't pick it up there in the first place," he added.

"So we half-did that at the beginning of season five. But no, we're coming back to the very night that we ended the episode on," as he concluded. Some assume that the jury might acquit him but viewers will still need to wait for the finale of Season 5 and the beginning of Season 6.

Meanwhile, Zap2it noted that actor Patrick J. Adams, who portrays Mike Ross stated that the scripts are currently a work in progress. "They're still working on them. We usually don't get them until a week before we start shooting."

The official premiere date for "Suits" season 6 is set to be confimred.
