'Suits' Season 6 Spoilers, News Update: Mike Endures Two Years In Prison; Three New Story Stars Join Cast?
"Suits" season 5 ended with a shocker when Mike chose to go behind bars, leaving Pearson, Litt and Specter devastated, and Jessica, Harvey and Louis all by themselves in rebuilding the firm.
Mike always had his way of getting them out of thorny situations, so his absence will certainly be felt in season 6.
The upcoming season of the legal drama will show how Mike makes the best use of his skills in enduring his two years in prison. As the creators of the show intend to make his new life in Danbury Prison more interesting for viewers, new story players will join the cast of "Suits" season 6.
According to Deadline, actors Erik Palladino, Paul Schulze and Malcolm Jamal Warner will recur in the upcoming season either as potential friends or enemies of Mike behind bars.
Palladino will act as the mysterious Kevin Miller, and whether he will be Mike's best comrade or worst enemy is something fans of the series have yet to find out. On the other hand, Schulz will take the role of inmate Frank Gallo and will play a big part in Mike's adjustment to prison life. Lastly, Warner will guide him on his path to rehabilitation as the counselor of Danbury Prison.
"Suits" season 6 will pick up where season 5 left off, when Mike accepted a plea deal for fraud conspiracy and entered the Danbury Prison. It is expected to air in late June on USA Network.
In a recent interview, lead actor Macht revealed that the season will incorporate humor following an emotionally exhausting season 5.
