‘Suits’ Season 6 Release Date, Spoilers: Producer Hints Mike Ross and His Life In Prison

Creators of "Suits" promise not to resort to a time jump for its next season, Jobs & Hire reports.

In a recent interview, Patrick J. Adams revealed that season 6 of the series will focus on what happens to Mike Ross since he was put behind bars.

Aaron Korsh also assured fans of the series that the upcoming season will begin right exactly where the previous season left off. That means that the series will explore what happens to Mike after he pleaded guilty of the charges pressed against him. In the final scene of season 5 finale, Harvey dropped him right at the entrance gate of the jail.

The first episode of Season 6 will follow Mike's first night as a convict, as well as the first night of Jessica, Louis and Donna at the empty firm. The finale of season 5 showed the three characters heading back to the firm following the cancellation of Rachel and Mike's wedding.

According to Aaron Korsh, there is a huge possibility that Mike Ross will become the investigator of Pearson Specter Litt while in prison, but that is only if there is a law that allows a prisoner to practice his profession as a lawyer, as in the case of Mike.

Asked about the future of Mike, Korsh said: "I have no idea. But I imagine he's going to have to learn to find his way in prison."

He also teased that Mike and Rachel may still get along in the upcoming season, but hopes of having their thwarted relationship rekindled remain slim.

As of this time, no official announcement has been made yet about the premiere date of the next season of the legal drama.
