'Suicide Squad' Spoilers, Rumors: Arkham Asylum Setting Teased by Director David Ayer

It appears that moviegoers will take a trip to the infamous Arkham Asylum in the upcoming 'Suicide Squad' film according to director David Ayer's latest teaser.

Ayer tweets an on set picture that looks to be Arkham Asylum documents in binders, with the caption:

"Set dec. Every detail matters ?#SuicideSquad"

The inclusion of the location is pretty imperative to the Suicide Squad lineage, as in the comics it is home to most of the members.

'Suicide Squad' will feature actors Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.

"Originally created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru back in 1959, the group was retooled into its current iteration as villains working off their sentence by John Ostrander. The team has included countless DC villains (and heroes) among its ranks throughout the years. It's also been a staple of recent DC media, 'Arrow' introduced their own version of the team in the most recent season of the series and the recent animated film, Batman: Assault on Arkham, offered another version of the team," writes Coming Soon.

The movie is currently in pre-production, but will hit theaters on August 25th, 2016.
