One of the first official on set pictures have surfaced from the highly anticipated 'Suicide Squad,' and features Will Smith in his role as Deadshot.

The actor appears to be in a crowded city setting in regular civilian clothes, although it isn't believed that the character will regularly look like this throughout the film. It is most likely the character in street clothes or perhaps a flashback.

Will Smith's character seems to also be out with a little girl, presumed to be Deadshot's daughter.

"It's worth noting though that Deadshot appears to have both eyes here, so this could be a flashback to a time before he was a killer. The presence of a young girl seems to indicate that anyway, and it looks like they're shopping together. Either way, the Gotham City police car confirms where these scenes are set, so that too raises some interesting questions about the movie. For example, could it be that this will be an origin story for the character?" writes Comic Book Movie.

If this is an origin scene, we can speculate that the movie will feature an origin story for each of its characters. This will allow them all to be easily used later throughout the DC cinematic universe.

'Suicide Squad' is currently in production in Toronto, Canada. Smith will star along side Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as (we assume) El Diablo, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.

Rap artist Common has also been announced to be casted in an undisclosed role.

'Suicide Squad' premieres in theaters on August 5^th, 2016.
