'Suicide Squad' Rumors, News: Details on Batman's Involvement Released

Thanks to some leaked photos from the set of 'Suicide Squad' we now know that Batman indefinitely plays a role in the upcoming movie.

So far we've seen the Dark Knight in his Batmobile in hot pursuit of the Joker and Harley Quinn. While this confirms the character's inclusion, we still don't know how he'll play into the whole film.

Recent rumors now reveal some key information on the role the superhero plays in the film. Umberto Gonzalez reports that a scene involving Batman and Amanda Waller in which he disagrees with the employment of the Suicide Squad.

"In short, he goes and pays Amanda Waller a visit. Batman BREAKS into her massive security prison. In fact...he's already inside Amanda Waller's office waiting for her in the shadows when she appears. The guards are clueless. Batman has a bone to pick with Waller. You see Batman is totally against the concept behind the Suicide Squad, in fact he warns Waller that he will hold her personally responsible for any innocents The Joker & the rest of the Suicide Squad kill. A warning so stern that he has to visit Waller personally to deliver the message," writes Heroic Hollywood.

This rumor has been confirmed by multiple sources but is still subject to change with the final production of the movie.

As this movie will focus largely on the origin of the Suicide Squad, it isn't believed that Batman will play a huge role in the movie.

Gonzalez also reports on a Bruce Wayne scene that he has yet to uncover. The character outside of costume has been spotted numerous times on set.

'Suicide Squad' drops into theaters on August 5, 2016.
