'Suicide Squad' Release Date, News: Batman Going To Be As The Villain This Time?

The plot of the "Suicide Squad" might be the most closely-guarded of all time, particularly who the big bad will be that forces the hand of the government to send a band of misfits to do the job.

In a sense, if the villains are the heroes in this movie, would it not be logical to assume that Batman would be the "bad guy?"

David Ayer explained to Collider said that they're coming into the movie showing the perspective of the villains, instead of coming from the lens of the Dark Knight.

"If you look at what Bruce Wayne has done in creating the Batman persona, his idea was to terrorize criminal," he said. "It's sort of psychological warfare against criminals. This wraith that comes in the night and attacks and pulls criminals from society. For the first time, we're seeing Batman from the point of view of the criminals and he's freaking scary."

Nevertheless, there's a bit of news on the "big bad" of "Suicide Squad," and it goes by the mysterious name of "The Adversary."

Screen Rant still has no details on what the archenemy will look like, but his (or her!) henchmen call themselves "The Eyes of the Adversary."

And Ayer shared the news about conceptualizing the looks of the henchmen for "Suicide Squad" after a literal dream that he had.

"They're pretty disturbing," he said. "It's hard to come up with bad guys, and it's hard to come up with creatures... You want to do something fresh, yet, I also want to do something very specific to this world and unique. And I think we kind of nailed it."

Watch out for more news about "Suicide Squad" which will be published here when they become available.
