'Suicide Squad' Cast News, Rumors: Ben Affleck Believed to Cameo as Bruce Wayne or Batman in the Movie?

A new photo straight from the set of of 'Suicide Squad' would lead fans to believe in a Bruce Wayne/Batman cameo for the movie.

Ben Affleck was spotted on set in a leaked photo in Toronto. While this doesn't solidify anything yet, it does largely suggest his involvement. It was also previously rumored that his character would make an appearance on a scene that depicted him in security camera footage.

"Back in January we reported two conflicting theories on Batman's Suicide Squad cameo, one stating that he would appear only in video footage, and another claiming that he would make an actual in-story appearance in the film. It looks like the later is correct. That same report said that his appearance would revolve around The Joker, setting up Jared Leto's villain as the central antagonist of the solo Batman movie," writes Collider.

'Suicide Squad' will be included in the shared DC cinematic universe that is being brought to life. We'll most likely see a lot of these interconnected characters throughout the upcoming movies.

Coupled with this rumor is Jared Leto's Joker making a short cameo in 'Batman V Superman.'

Latino Review reports:

"This past week, David Ayer revealed his version of the Clown Prince of Gotham, and now we've learned that Leto's presence in Toronto as the Joker will end up serving both films. A few weeks ago I'd heard murmurs of a flashback sequence that had supposedly been added to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where we'd see Jared Leto's Joker beating and killing Jason Todd, aka Robin."

This will surely map out Batman's solo film set to premiere in the next couple years. We'll surely figure out more on this as the release date moves closer for the films.

On that note, 'Suicide Squad' is set for release on August 5th, 2016.
