Fans can see actor Jared Leto's excitement to helm the role as The Joker for David Ayer's 'Suicide Squad' film with his constant teases on social media.

The actor's most recent nod to his DC villain role came in the form of an Instagram picture with him in a makeup chair. He captions the photo:

"Transformation begins."

"The Dallas Buyers Club and Panic Room actor has been steadily keeping fans informed on social media about changing his look for the DC Comics movie, beginning with his now famous shave and haircut and then bleaching," writes IGN.

The cast begins filming for the movie next month, and while it hasn't been revealed what take of the Joker Leto will portray, he has stated that he plans to reinvent it into something we've not yet seen.

Actors currently attached include Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Joel KInnaman, Scott Eastwood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and possibly Jesse Eisenberg.

'Suicide Squad' is set for release on August 5^th, 2016.
