'Hookers for Jesus' ministries founder and President Annie Lobert shared her heartfelt testimony about her former life as a prostitute and talked about a near overdose on cocaine that actually saved her life.

Lobert is married to Richard Alfonso Martinez, better known as Oz Fox, the lead guitarist of the '80s Christian glam metal band Stryper. The couple was married on June 5, 2009, and had a highly publicized wedding ceremony that was broadcasted live.

Unfortunately, before she met her future husband Fox, she had a terrible relationship with her father Chet. This resulted in her leaving her family behind at the age of 18 because she felt unloved by her dad, according to her emotional 'I Am Second' testimony video.

In addition, Lobert found out her then high school boyfriend was cheating on her with several best friends. This caused her to begin to distrust men in general as she wanted to get revenge for the way the males had treated her in the past.

This would result in a dark path that would lead her to prostitution after one of her friends at the time convinced her to sell her body to Japanese clients. She saw the lifestyle that prostitution could bring her, and it became a "ring" that she put on and transformed her.

After that, Lobert become a dancer, and there she met a man who swept her off her feet. In reality, he was a pimp who was looking to make money off of her. To make matters worse, Lobert revealed that she was constantly beaten by her former boyfriend who would take her money, rape her, and force her to do all sorts of things that she did not want to.

She was able to escape the pimp, and began selling herself once again, but it was not the same. Not long after that, she was diagnosed with cancer and was so desperate for cash, she continued working. She would make her calls bald while wearing a wig, and clients began calling her "cancer b***h."

To combat the pain of the cancer, she started using cocaine. Lobert one day looked in the mirror at herself, and saw the destruction of her life. She went into the shower and scrubbed herself thinking "I will never become clean."

It was then that she made the decision to get "higher than ever" and freebased a large amount of cocaine. Lobert instantly went blind and fell back. "I felt this demonic presence come over me...I knew that I was at death's door."

The end of her life flashed before her eyes as she saw her family, the funeral, and her own body in a coffin, "She was just a prostitute" her family said.

It was then that she cried out "Jesus! Please save me. I don't know if you're real, but I don't want to die."

Lobert woke up in the hospital and the doctor said, "You should be dead, God must be with you." Instantly she knew God heard her prayer, and decided to dedicate her life to Christ.

She now goes to those same strips and preaches the gospel to the strippers, and started her organization, "Hookers For Jesus."
