‘Street Fighter V’ PS4 & PC News: Upcoming Game to Add Battle System; Release Likely in March 2015 [VIDEO]

'Street Fighter V,' Capcom's upcoming game for Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Widows, will incorporate quite a few changes from it earlier versions. For instance, the new fighting video game will include a new battle system, dubbed as the Variable System or V-System, will have a distinct effect on the character as well as the manner in which one fights in the game.

IB Times reports that an announcement made via the PlayStation Blog states that the V-System will be determined by three mechanisms - the V-Skill, V-Trigger and V-Reversal. The V-Skill is a series of expertise specific a particular character and it can be used differently subject to the character that is being used. Ideally, it should be used as a supplement for the weak points of a character to win matches. A player can access the V-Skill at any time during matches.

The second, a player can tap V-Trigger only when the V-Gauge is full. This is a potent move and when a player masters it, it may prove to be the victory move of a player. V-Reversal is the matching part of Alpha counters' from the 'Street Fighter Alpha' series. It allows a player to block as well as neutralize some of the attacks by the opponent. Basically, it is a means to create an opening to act in response of an attack.

Capcom has already revealed the V-Skills and V-Triggers of the main characters Ryuu, Chun-Li, Nash and M. Bison, especially the V-Triggers of Ryuu, Chun-Li and M. Bison have a timer, improving the gameplay experience while using these three popular characters of the game.

According to the report, the game will also include powered versions of the special attacks, which a player can achieve after building up the EX Gauge, which can also deliver Critical Art when maxed out.

Each of these moves can be seen in the trailer below. Preorder for 'Street Fighter V' is already available, granting the additional bonus of beta access for players. Although Capcom is yet to announce the official release date for 'Street Fighter V,' EventHubs reports that, the most recent issue of ShortList gaming magazine claims that the fighting game will arrive for the PS4 and PC in March 2016.
