'Street Fighter 5' Story Mode, DLC Release Date: ‘A Shadow Falls’ Leaks Playable Characters In A Cinematic Gaming Experience
New details on the story mode of Capcom's forthcoming "Street Fighter 5" have surfaced. It is revealed that the characters are playable in the title's cinematic experience.
Gamers can play all six DLC characters in the upcoming story expansion of "Street Fighter 5," Game Spot has learned. As per the publication, these characters include Juri, Urien, Balrog, Ibuki, Guile, and Alex. However, the first three will not be playable outside the said story mode until the latter part of the year, since they are not yet tournament ready. The gaming company added that they still needed to be properly polished and balanced.
According to IGN, the story expansion is called A Shadow Falls and it is set to provide players three to four hours of cinematic gaming experience. The story unveils five chapters of events from "Street Fighter 3" and "Street Fighter 4," which means "Street Fighter 5" is set to serve as mediators to its latter two predecessors.
It is further revealed that A Shadow Falls follows an epic combat between the Shadaloo organization and the World Warriors, with M. Bison possessing "unimaginable" abilities when Shadaloo sent out seven Black Moons. The said moons are set to be spotted by Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li to stop the organization's evil plans.
In addition to the playability of the said characters and lengthy gaming experience, gamers are also entitled to have Fight Money when they complete each story mode. This implies that new missions, which are more difficult than the previous ones, will be unlocked for a more challenging gaming experience.
Overall, Capcom's "Street Fighter 5" is set to be released at the end of this month.
