'Street Fighter 5' Story Mode, DLC Character Ibuki Going To Come Out In Later This Month?
"Street Fighter 5" has been quite a success, despite a number of flaws marring the gameplay on its initial release, and developer Capcom promises that there is still more improvements to come. The Ibuki character DLC release has been confirmed to come in the second half of June.
The teaser for the DLC, which is a demo of Ibuki fighting, has already been released online, but many were wondering when exactly the release date will be. Capcom was unable to provide that information in the beginning.
According to the Capcom Unity Blog, Capcom promises to improve its Public Relations and Communication when it comes to providing details on upcoming game updates.
"The first thing we want to address is the release of our next DLC character, Ibuki. We had originally aimed to release her in the last week of May, but in order to provide the best experience possible for our players, we decided to postpone her," a Capcom representative said.
"We are doing our best to release the content in the last week of June."
The game's official Twitter account also posted an announcement regarding the confusion. The tweet was made on June 1, and reads:
"We wanted to clear up the confusion around the release of Ibuki in #SFV. She will be released alongside Story Mode at the end of June."
In line with Capcom's statement, the DLC will feature a new Story Mode for the Street Fighter characters. Get ready for a specific release date as the DLC becomes available later this June.
