Sting WWE Debut 2014 News: The Rock Hints Legendary Comeback

Fans are still waiting for the long-awaited Sting debut on WWE and previous reports say WWE wrestlers are waiting for his moment in the spotlight as well.

Last July 9, he tweeted a cryptic message that fans have been trying to unravel ever since.

"07.14.14," the tweet says. The only apparent connection with this to the WWE, is that a Raw event occurred on this date. Fans could not imagine why he posted this date, while some thought that he was just toying with his fans.

As for the WWE deal, it is reported that they have officially closed the deal. However, the details of the deal are not released to the public. Now, they just need to officially announce his comeback after 10 years of being out of the scene.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, on the other hand, seemed to have let the cat out of the bag about the matter while he was promoting his 'Hercules' movie. During an interview, he was asked about his character in the film. He was also asked about the possible pre-order of Sting's character in the upcoming 'WWE 2K15' video game.

"I do [think Sting will "come back"], yeah. And, I know a guy or two, so let's just put it like that. I do think he's gonna come back and I think it's gonna be great. If he does," he said.

Meanwhile, other familiar names are coming into the WWE, such as Steve Borden, who was confirmed last July. He is set to fight with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31.
