Following the announcement at the New York Comic-Con (NYCC) that "Steven Universe" season 4 will air new episodes this November, it was recently confirmed that episode 8 will arrive Nov. 17.

According to reports, the episode, titled "Gem Harvest," will arrive in time for Thanksgiving, which is on Nov. 24 this year.

The promotional image for the upcoming episode features the entire gang without Steve, staring at something unseen. Their facial expressions look entirely different from one another.

At the NYCC, it was teased that episode 8 will follow Peridot and Lapis as they try to get rid of boredom in the barn by planting vegetables. However, they will be disappointed to learn that the things they planted are not actually the same as gems. Since Steven cannot accept the fact that their hard work and excitement only led to a letdown, he will create an animated pumpkin that resembles a hybrid of a jack-o-lantern, as well as an adorable dog.

There are also rumors that episode 8 will see the rise of a new fusion between Lapis and Peridot, and that the voice of the new fusion will be that of "Adventure Time" voice actress Ashly Burch.

Reports suggest that the upcoming episode will be a 30-minute special, which is the second special since the first season. The first one was the episode titled "Bismuth" from season 3. Episode 8 is reportedly a Thanksgiving special, which explains why its air date is close to the annual holiday.
