Following the release of "In Too Deep" in May, "Steven Universe" season 3 is likely to return this July.

It was reported previously that the next installment of "Steven Universe" will come out in June. However, since June is already about to end with no single update from its home network, there are speculations that the new episodes of the series will be released a month late, which is in July. 

Recently, leaked clips titled "Too Short to Ride" went viral on YouTube. The said video added fuel to the speculations that the series will be out in July, since the description for the clip revealed that it was from the CN Anything app.

While the clip somewhat confirmed that "Steven Universe" season 3 is coming out soon, it did not reveal anything about the upcoming installment as it only ran for three seconds and showed Peridot hugging a toy alien. The very short clip led fans to assume that Peridot will be paired up with an alien in the much-anticipated episodes. Another clip showed nothing more than Peridot happily playing with Steven and acting silly with him.

"I harnessed the power of the interlocking cabbage ships" says Peridot to Steven, to which Steven quips, "Good thing I grew out of those shoes."

Meanwhile, some reports also consider the possibility of Homeworld stealing Russia in the next season. This is because in the episode titled "It Could Have Been Great," a giant hole was shown in the location of Russia on the map. Some speculate that this could signify that Homeworld used that particular location to breed new gems.
