Along with new covers for Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe" season 2, it has been revealed that Yellow Diamond is set to appear in the series.

According to Ecumenical News, it is rumored that the second installment of the hit cartoon series "Steven Universe" is set to feature a new villain in the form of Yellow Diamond. As per the publication, the antagonist will serve as a huge challenge to the Crystal Gems, with the latter rumored to have a hard time taking her down.

The publication added that Steven and Peridot will encounter Yellow Diamond when the villain arrives on Earth. Previously, fans can recall that Peridot left her home planet and moved to Earth instead because of her deviant behavior. Soon, it is seen that the character has become part of the Crystal Gems.

Sporting a short bob hair, Yellow Diamond is known for her hatred on planet Earth, among other things in the cosmos. Since she detests the living planet, it is assumed that the villain is going to do anything within her power to destroy it, as well as its inhabitants. The Steven and the Crystal Gems should also be extra cautious, as the villain's power gets stronger when she is mad.

In other news, Boom! Studios has released a cover for "Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems," along with covers for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" and "Jonesy," Christian Daily reported. As per the publication, the studio had its exhibit at WonderCon 2016, which was held at the Los Anges Convention Center on Mar. 25 to Mar. 27.

Designed by Steven Sugar, the "Steven Universe" cover featured a village map, labelled "Beach City Delmarva" on its bottom right part. It is notable that the community at the left part of the cover is next to a plateau and is surrounded by bodies of water, namely, the Rehoboth Bay at the north and the Atlantic Ocean.

As per Vine Report, the revelation of the new poster is an effective approach to give fans Easter eggs on what to expect from the upcoming "Steven Universe" season 2.
