Steven Curtis Chapman Releases New Single "Remember To Remember" Today; Announces Fall Leg Of "SCC Solo" Tour
Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman has announced that he will continue his successful tour, "SCC Solo: Hits, History, and Influences," and is releasing his new single, "Remember to Remember," today. The fall leg of the tour, which is now in its third season, will visit 21 cities across the U.S., kicking off Aug. 11 in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and wrapping Nov. 18 in Tulsa, Okla.
Celebrating several sold-out shows at historic theaters during the spring leg of the tour, such as at Atlanta's Buckhead Theatre and The Walker Theatre in Chattanooga, the upcoming fall tour will offer more stops at historic and iconic theatres across the nation, such as San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre, The Lyric Theatre in Birmingham, Ala., and The Folly Theater in Kansas City, Mo.
"I had such a great time on the past two legs of the 'SCC Solo Tour,' sharing stories and taking my friends on a musical journey in cities across the country," says Chapman. "Since I couldn't squeeze all the places I wanted to visit during the spring run, I'm excited to be coming back with more dates for 'SCC Solo' this fall. I hope you'll come join me for what is proving to be one of the most special tours I've ever experienced."
The "SCC Solo" tour celebrates three decades of music from Chapman, who ranks as the most-awarded Christian artist as well as being a best-selling author. Tour dates are listed at the end of this article and tickets will be available on June 1 at Chapman's official website.
Chapman's first new single in almost two years, "Remember to Remember," was inspired following the release of his 2017 best-selling memoir, "Between Heaven & The Real World," and is available to stream or download on all digital formats today. Click here to listen on Spotify.
