Steam 'Batman: The Telltale Series' News: Title Got Early Negative Reviews?

Telltale Games' "Batman: The Telltale Series" has been released; however, it looks like the players have their own issues about the gameplay.

Fans do not seem to happy with the gameplay of "Batman: The Telltale Series." According to PC World, several Steam users have reported bugs in the game. As per the publication, there was not support for Xbox One controllers, not to mentioned that the title supports the platform.

In this regard, players may use Xbox 360 controllers, as they work fine. This would be an alternative for Xbox One players, as using the mouse or the keyboard would not be satisfying, in line with the game's nature.

Another bug reported by Steam players was the frozen UI element when they press the "Codex" in the Batcave. As per reports, the freeze can be best fixed by resetting to the checkpoint and not clicking on the Codex. It is assumed that this concern could be a waste of time and effort for some players.

Aside from the aformentioned bugs, another issue in the game was the resolution. On Aug. 2, Steam forum member MuskySlySloat wrote on the website "Buggy! Great start guys, haven't even started the game yet and resolution is an issue, try to set to any res higher than 720p, your mouse gets held ransom in an invisible box at the top left of the screen.

With the above issues, it is assumed that Telltales is yet to develop a patch or update that will resolve them.

Developed by Telltale Games, "Batman: The Telltale Series" was released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows on Aug. 2.
