The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is slowly getting closer to its release date this December 2015 and while the fans await the film, they can get a hold of the latest Vanity Fair magazine in the meantime as it features the cast on the cover.

Well, it is indeed a futuristic flashback dedication of Vanity Fair for the hit movie series 'Star Wars' as the magazine featured the cast of the film on this month's magazine cover. The cast on the cover includes Harrison Ford who plays Han Solo in the film and of course, Peter Mayhew who is the famous Chewbacca.

The two original cast members were also joined by new cast members like John Boyega who will be playing Finn in the film as well as Daisy Ridley who will play the character of Rey in the upcoming 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' film which is scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2015.

The magazine dedicated this month to the upcoming film and was photographed by the famous photographer Anne Leibovitz. In the photo where the characters in the film posed together with some sort of a space ship in the background became trending when it was released by the magazine online.

Last month was a shock for all as director J.J. Abrams revealed to everyone that the movie that everyone's excited about is indeed coming soon. Abrams released a teaser trailer and in a sneak peak, Ford who plays Solo, mentioned, "Chewie, we're home."

As the fans wait for the release date, a lot are already planning to purchase the special edition of the magazine that featured the cast and apparently other information that weren't revealed yet. Meanwhile other cast members joining Ford include, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis and even old cast members like Carrie Fisher who plays Princess Leia and Mark Hamill who plays Luke Skywalker.
