Star Wars Rebels just completed its first season last March, and the trailer for the second season is already out on the Internet.

The trailer debuted during the Star Wars Celebration, which took place at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, the 18^th of April.

The video shows that there will be some familiar faces in the second season, from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.

At the end of season 1, Darth Vader has returned and the Rebel Alliance is getting larger. Characters like Ashoka, Captain Rex and Hondo Ohnaka are coming to help Ezra and his group.

There is even a glimpse in the video clip of Darth Vader as he engages in a lightsaber battle with Kanan, and there will also be a fight between Vader and Ezra.

At the Star Wars celebration, the executive producer of the series, Dave Filoni made a statement about the trailer in a press conference.

Filoni said, "These things are designed to hit you immediately. As you watch the trailer over and over, if they're designed well, there are layers and there are things you see and you get a little more out of it. It keeps you engaged."

He also teased fans about what exactly they could expect from the second season. He said that Ezra's back story in terms of his parents will be fleshed out a little bit more.

He has his other family, but fans still wonder what has happened to his mother and father. In season two, says Filoni, fans will get a deeper look at all of the characters on the show.

Fans who were present at the event were treated to the entire premiere episode of season 2, called "The Siege of Lothal".
