In latest 'Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens' movie news, the release date for the official trailer of the long running sci-fi film franchise was recently leaked online.

Popular movie theater chain, The Regal Cinemas, revealed on their official website where fans can see the sneak peak trailer in the very near future.

Moreover, a commenter went on the Reddit and wrote the following regarding the preview release date prior to the official blockbuster announcement.

"For next weekend only (not sure if it's Fri/Sat/Sun or just Sat/Sun) a 90 second trailer for the new Star Wars will appear before every single showtime for every single movie at 100 theaters nationwide. I don't know exactly which theaters (except for one). Word has it Disney told all theaters getting the trailer that Big Hero 6 had to be the earliest showtime for each day (assuming that the fans will all buy a ticket to the earliest showing possible)," wrote KokiriEmerald via Reddit on November 22, according to numerous reports.

'Star Wars Episode 7' features the return of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa), and Harrison Ford as the iconic space cowboy Han Solo in the upcoming film.

'Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens' is set to arrive in movie theaters on December 18, 2015, while 'Star Wars Episode 8' is scheduled to debut in 2017.
