'Star Wars Episode 7' Comic Con News: Various Panels to Prevail Over Comic Con
'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens' is scheduled to prevail over San Diego Comic Con International 2015 on Friday, July 10.
Latin Post reports that throughout the day different panels will be celebrating the release of 'Star Wars.' The day will start with a Star Wars Publishing 2015 panel showcasing authors that will discuss their endeavors to retell classic 'Star Wars' stories for fans belonging to a younger generation. According to the report, the panel will comprise authors Alexandra Bracken ('The Darkest Minds' series), Adam Gidwitz ('A Tale Dark and Grimm' series) and Tom Angleberger (The 'Star Wars Origami' books).
Following this, another Star Wars Publishing panel will hold discussions about Star Wars books that expand the universe.
Next, Hasbro will present a panel on the 'Star Wars' toys as well as discuss the most recent action figures. In addition, some new products will also be revealed on the occasion. Many fans are expecting that some of these new products may possibly reveal some spoilers regarding the upcoming films of the franchise.
Around midday, there will be a Star Wars Collectibles panel, comprising collectible manufacturers eFX, Gentle Giant Studios, and Kotobukiya as well as Sideshow Collectibles preview the most recent 'Star Wars' toys for fans who have a preference for toys in the "look, but don't touch" category. Anita Castellar, who is a big fan of the franchise, will be one of the main speakers on this occasion.
The symposium will finish off with an ILM 40th anniversary panel. This panel will hold a tribute to the visual effects house Industrial Light & Magic, which has its origin in 1975 and was first introduced in the original 'Star Wars.' The presentation will cover a wide range from its initial days of miniature model work to the current high-tech frontier.
However, as of now, it is not clear whether or not any actor from the upcoming 'Episode VII: The Force Awakens' will be attending the conference, but there is no doubt that this event will be one of the highlights of the conference.
Meanwhile, 'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens,' starring Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, is slated for a Dec. 18, 2015 release.
