It's been a while since EA promised a new 'Star Wars: Battlefront' title, it was announced at an E3 press conference sometime ago, but now, there's something solid to go on. In a recent Twitter post by EAStarWars, the launch window and gaming platforms were revealed.

@KyleHackley Star Wars Battlefront will be available holiday 2015, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Beyond that, there's some more good news in regards to information about the upcoming 'Starwars: Battlefront' game. A post on EA's official Star Wars website says that gamers should expect more details about the game in Spring 2015.

It seems as though there's going to be a Star Wars celebration in which the game, 'Star Wars: Battlefront' will be part of. The official post reads:

"We're thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars^TM Celebration next month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19. We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it. For more information on Star Wars Celebration and ways to attend, please visit http://starwarscelebration.com."

Beyond that, the post suggested that interested gamers go ahead and follow the game's official social media portals, and provided links to them, "We'll have more information in the coming weeks. All in all, gamers have been waiting for quite some time for any news about the next 'Star Wars: Battlefront' title, and it looks as if that wait has been drasitcally shortened.
