'Star Wars: Battlefront' News: Sequel Title Features Offline Single-Player Mode, Faces A ‘Great Road Ahead’
In line with Electronic Arts' (EA) "Star Wars: Battlefront," it is revealed that the title's sequel is set to have a single-player mode. Also, game developers revealed that the game is just the start.
EA's "Star Wars: Battlefront" is set to feature an offline single-player mode, according to Uninspired Zebra's YouTube Channel. The gaming mode, which is called Instant Action, is included in the game menu, along with Multiplayer, Missions, Bodyguard Pack, and Tips and Tricks.
Selecting the Instant Action menu directs players to two options - the Walker Assault and the Fighter Squadron. The former features several Imperial walkers as they descend on a Rebel stronghold in an attack and defend gameplay and it includes several selections like the Outpost Beta, Twilight on Moon, Jundland Wastes, Forest Moon of Endor, Survivors of Endor, Graveyards of Giants, and the Sorosuub Centroplex.
Upon choosing a game option, gamers are also able to see the game description, difficulty level as normal, hard, and master; game modes as solo play and partner (for online co-op), and the stars, which reflect the player's credit rewards.
Though improvements are overt in "Star Wars: Battlefront," EA's global publishing chief Laura Miele revealed that the game is set to face a long road.
In her interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Miele said that "Battlefront" was one of the best-selling "Star Wars" games in the history of all "Star Wars" games and that was their first one. She continued to say that they were just getting started and they felt like they had a great road ahead of them in the franchise.
Published by EA, "Star Wars: Battlefront" is available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Watch the clip here.
