'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC Release Date Plans: Three DLCs Coming Out In Nov. 2016?
There may be plans for three DLCs, with the first release date rumored for next month up to the latter part of the year for the video game, "Star Wars Battlefront."
According to iDigital Times, "Outer Rim" will be the first DLC and which will be released on March 12. The DLC contains new weapons, new skills, new game modes and also new maps.
Two game modes from the expansion pack have also been revealed, namely, "Invasion" and "Scramble."
Invasion will be a chaotic 30 versus 30 team death match which can be played in the map, "outskirts of Sullust." On the other hand, Scramble will have fewer participants of 12 versus 12. The match can be held at the passageways just underneath the palace of the very infamous Jabba the Hutt.
The second pack, named "Bespin" might be released on July 17. The will be a new game mode entitled "Bounty Hunt," marking an introduction of the new characters Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian.
The last DLC which could come out sometime around November is called "Death Star." From the sound of it, it may contain some action-packed game modes and new characters.
Star Wars Battlefront is developed by EA DICE, helped by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. The game is running on the Frostbit 3 engine. The game can be played on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game was released on November 17, 2015. It managed to receive reasonably high scores ranging from 70-80 percent (or 7-8 out of 10) from GameSpot, IGN and many other outlets. It also got a nomination for "Best Shooter Game" in The Game Awards 2015.
