'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC 'Bespin' Release Date: Second DLC To Be Revealed On June 21 For Season Pass Holders
In addition to a new concept art, new details on the release date on "Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin" have surfaced and it presents an advantage to the season pass holders.
EA has announced that "Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin" is set to be released on June 21, IGN has learned. As per the publication, the title, which features the Cloud City of Bespin, is bound to be accessible for season pass holders on the said date, which is two weeks prior to its availability to all players.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, "Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin" is set to come out on July 5 for all players. As per the publication, it is expected that the title's release is the same, which is midnight, for those who skipped the Season Pass in line with the independent add-on.
In January, Electronic Arts (EA) DICE revealed that "Star Wars Battlefront" is set to have three expansions in 2016 and another one in the early part of 2017. "Bespin" stands as the second expansion, following the first DLC "Outer Rim," which had become accessible to season pass holders in March and to other players in April.
EA has also unveiled a new concept art for "Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin" and it can be viewed in the game's official website. As per the publication, the art sees new cloud car vehicles flying through Cloud City and the Administrator's Palace. The game follows iconic smuggler Lando Calrissan and cold-blooded bounty hunter Dengar in the titular locale.
The "Bespin" DLC is also set to feature two new blasters to be included in the players' arsenal. Players can choose between short or long range combat with the new EE-4 blasters and X-8 Night Sniper.
Overall, "Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin" will be initially released for season pass holders on June 21.
