‘Star Wars: Battlefront 3’ Unreleased Footage Leaked; Death Star DLC Launched For Series Reboot

In a recent leak from EA DICE's cancelled game "Star Wars: Battlefront 3," new unreleased footage was reportedly shown. In addition, the new Death Star DLC for the 2015 "Star Wars: Battlefront" reboot has been launched.

Entitled "Star Wars: Battlefront 3: training (Pt.1)," the unreleased footage opens in space with two human characters talking and walking toward a non-human character, presumably Master Ferroda, who may have a pivotal role in the game. Succeeding scenes also feature the star troopers and the other angles of their battle station. The screen also displays the main objective, which is to accompany Master Ferroda.

Further sequences show the two human characters carry their weapons and fly a space craft, suggesting that they are under training, which is also indicated in the clip's title. The spacecraft continues to fly and explore the area. Also, the clip shows the spacecraft hit other targets.

According to PC Gamer, "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" was mediocre and far from done when it was cancelled, adding this is closer to the truth than when Free Radical co-founder Steve Ellis' claimed the game was already 99 percent done.

In other news, EA DICE has launched the new Death Star DLC for its "Star Wars: Battlefront" 2015 reboot. According to the official website, players can experience the game in new levels, along with five new maps and new game mode. The DLC also features a tri-phased mode where Rebels try to annihilate an Imperial Star Destroyer for them to clear the spot for a GR-75 and its brave Rebel boarding party.

The 2015 "Star Wars: Battlefront" is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
