'Star Fox Zero' Game Rumors: Release Date Pushed Back To Summer 2016? Retails Stick To April Release

With "Star Fox Zero" set to hit the market soon, it has been revealed that its release date has been pushed back.

According to WCCF Tech, the release of "Star Fox Zero" has been moved to Apr. 22 to July 15, as listed in game retailer Micromania. As per the publication, the date is a more likely than the previous set date, since it is a Friday, the day when games are usually released in Europe.

It has been revealed the no other game seller listed the game with the postponed release date; however, there is a strong possibility that "Star Fox Zero" had been delayed once more. The date change is in line with some leaked information before, such as the PlayStation 3 Slim console, the White Xbox One, and the Sunset Overdrive Xbox One bundle. With Nintendo yet to confirm the matter, the said rumors should be viewed as a grain of salt for the time being.

Currently in development with Platinum Games, the team behind hit games like "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance," "Vanquish," "Bayonetta" series, among others, "Star Fox Zero" comes with special features that can be used with the Nintendo Wii U GamePad.

"Star Fox Zero" centers on the rise of an evil empire that threatens the Lylat system and legendary space pilot Fox McCloud, who is set to face a number of evil forces to combat chaos in the galaxy.

Despite the rumors about "Star Fox Zero's" July release date without Nintendo's official announcement, it is assumed that retailers and fans are going to stick with the April release date for the time being.
