‘Spider-Man: Homecoming' Sequel Release Date: Early July 2019 Premiere Good Move For Fox?
The sequel to "Spider-Man: Homecoming" already has a release date and it's going to be in early July of 2019.
The "Spider-Man: Homecoming," which introduced Tom Holland in the reboot, is scheduled to premiere on July 7, 2017.
The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" sequel release date was apparently in response to the good reception of the recent trailer that was dropped by the studio. As a result, the studio had to push up the premiere of "Bad Boys 4" to the memorial weekend in May, Deadline reported.
According to Forbes, the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" sequel release date is actually good for the studio and the bigger picture of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For one, it's the first film right after "Avengers: Infinity Wars 2," which will end a long-running saga that started in 2008 with the release of "Iron Man." There were rumors that Robert Downey Jr. is no longer interested in reprising his role as Tony Stark and so does Chris Evans who just wants to finish the rest of his contract as Captain America. That would be the end of Phase 3 of the MCU.
So "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" would be the first film that will open another chapter in the MCU book. One that will introduce lesser known characters-not minor superheroes by the way-outside of the most passionate fans. For instance, you have Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, The Wasp and many others.
The "Spider-Man" Homecoming" sequel release date is on July 5, 2019. Watch out for any changes in schedule, which will be published here if anything comes along.
