'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Production News & Update: Photos And Video Of Tom Holland On Set Released Online
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" production continues in New York City, where the teenage superhero grew up. According to reports, fans of the series have spotted actor Tom Holland around the set of the film over the past few days.
Photos and a video of the actor shooting an evening scene for the film were released online, giving fans a closer look at the new web-slinger. In the photos, Holland is shown shooting a scene involving a mysterious briefcase. It looks like his character is in pursuit of somebody as he sprints across the street and hides at the side of a car. In one photo, the actor is seen in a black statement shirt that says, "The Physics is Theoretical, The Fun is Real."
Other photos show Holland donning his Spider-Man costume while shooting a scene that takes place on a fire escape of an apartment building. A video of that moment has also been released, where he is shown standing horizontally while flexing his web muscles.
Aside from the superhero, also spotted among the tons of sneak peeks is a car with the Stark license plate, which might refer to Robert Downey Jr.'s comeback as Iron Man. It can be recalled that in the "Civil War," the Iron Man recruited Peter to fight.
Directed by Jon Watts, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" also stars Zendaya as Peter's new love interest Mary Jane Watson, Marisa Tomeiback as Aunt May, Michael Keaton as Vulture, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Tony Revolori as Flash, Hannibal Buress, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Kenneth Choi, Laura Harrier and Jacob Batalon.
The film is set for release on July 7, 2017.
