'Spectre' Trailer News: Newest Trailer Shows Agent 007 Back In Action
The newest trailer for the next installment in the James Bond franchise, Spectre, has been released by EON Productions, Metro- Goldwyn- Mayer and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The trailer showcases all new footage fro the 24th James Bond film. The film is set to be released on November 6th, and a new and expanded synopsis has also been released.
"A cryptic message from the past sense James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico city and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE," begins the synopsis.
It goes on to say that the new head of the Centre for National Security does not approve of Bond's actions and begins to question whether or not MI6 is a relevant agency.
Bond secretly asks Moneypenny and Q to help him find the daughter of his old enemy Mr. White, who will help him get to the bottom of SPECTRE.
SPECTRE, which stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, is a global terrorist organization which exists in the Bond universe.
It is featured in the novel by Ian Fleming, as well as the films and video games based on them.
The organization was originally spearheaded by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, but it is as yet unconfirmed whether Blofeld will have a part to play in the new film.
Spectre, which was penned by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, comes to the big screen in theaters and IMAX on November 6th, 2015.
