Difference Media has added Ivan Parker to its stable, and the award-winning Christian artist will be releasing his debut production under the label in July.

"I am thrilled to be joining the Difference Media family," Parker said in a press release. "I have watched Difference grow in the last few years into one of the leading new labels in our industry, and it will be a privilege to call Canton Junction, The Hagees, and Aaron & Amanda Crabb my labelmates. I can hardly wait to begin working on the new project with my old friend, Garry Jones."

For his part, Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church, said that they are very glad to include Ivan Parker in the Difference Media family. Difference Media is a division of Cornerstone Church.

He said, "Ivan will be joining us on the road in Branson, Mo., April 28 and 29 and can also be seen hosting his show, 'Timeless Gospel,' on GETV.org."

Ivan Parker in an interview last year said the overall theme of his songs is about God's mercy.

"We basically live in a negative world and many look at a trial as immediate failure," he told Hallels. "Not all Christians live on the positive side of the trial but to know that there's a cushion of Mercy that we can fall into brings great comfort and courage. Once you have experienced mercy in the midst of a storm it changes your whole outlook and lets you know God has your back."

Ivan Parker has built a strong following over 20 years as a Southern Gospel singer after he left the quartet Gold City to carve a solo career. He has released 17 recordings along with three DVDs.
