Instead, rumors pertaining to the Xperia Z4 suggest that Sony Release will possibly launch the device sometime during summer. According to Xperia Blog, the Japanese tech firm is currently preparing for a summer launch of all its next generation smartphones.

Various reports presume that the delay in the release of the Sony Xperia Z4 possibly owe to the fact that the company desires to keep the current version - the Xperia Z3 in limelight for some more time. In fact, Sony announced the Xperia Z3 at the IFA 2014 in Berlin last September.
