The long wait is finally over as users of Sony Xperia Z3 will have the Android 5.0 Lollipop update by next week. It has been reported that Xperia Z3 Compact users will not be left behind as it is assured that the update will be available for them in just a few days after Xperia Z3.

Both Sony Mobile Indonesia and Sony Mobile France will finally see the release of the latest Android update. Reports say that Xperia Z3 will have will have features such as the lock screen notifications as well as the capacity to store their preferred apps on an SD card which is very convenient for storage expansion.

It has also been reported that Sony will have a new material design that Google introduced for the latest Android update, the Lollipop series. It is interesting since Sony has its own Material Design in its user interface and it has been reported that Google and Sony will have their own a unique interfaces as Sony will incorporate the elements provided by the new Android Lollipop 5.0 update.

Meanwhile, as the update is available for the Xperia Z3 next week, users of Xperia Z3 Compact are quite anxious as to when they will finally have the update for their smartphones. It's no surprise that the noticed two devices are very similar.
